It all starts with the lampworked cabochon - worked in the flame here in my Tucson studio. This one measures 20mm round. The colors are a dusky purple, a deep caramel and a spot of blue. It is bezel set in sterling silver on a pendant that measures 31 mm. Three 4 mm beautiful blue sapphires accent the piece.
Next is the sterling silver teardrop links. Several sizes in this necklace.
A dark patina is applied.
The necklace is approximately 18 inches. It's as light as a feather.
